Nice soft touch
That we're tied to the candle of science to show is the way, and we're using the instruments made with science to reach our goals and to know where we are.. To get from one shore to another.
Maybe the ocean even represents the star ocean. The cosmos.
The mist represents the destinations which we know nothing about. A destination unknown. We never know what we might find in our travels.
That's basically what i can say about this picture. What i love about surreal art is that you never really know what the artist had in mind when they made it. It could be something completley else for all i know.
Maybe it's just a journey that the artist feels like taking.. Maybe the mist in the distance is a fear that the artist has.. To not be able to know what will happen, and the candle and the instrument are just thoughts that he/she want's to get through those hard times safely..
But meh.. I'm just rambling now i guess. A really nice piece of art. Love it
